This website is designed to provide resources for parents and families focused on managing childhood anxiety and behavior as well as young adults managing OCD or anxiety disorders. Everyone experiences worry, fear, anger, sadness and joy, but sometimes those emotions can seem awfully BIG and more intense or more frequent than expected. In those cases, many individuals and families find that those negative emotions or behaviors make their way into the driver’s seat and start impacting their ability to live life they way they would like.

Here’s the good news: that can change! There is a lot of great research in this area and a number of principles that can promote long-term, positive change. Unfortunately, these research-based strategies are often drowned by a deluge of unstudied advice in popular media claiming instant, immediate or miraculous results, often at a high cost.

My goal in developing this website is to help provide easily accessible, evidence-based principles that can help individuals, parents and kids feel back in charge of those big emotions and behaviors. It is not intended to serve as or replace therapy, but rather to present general strategies and principles that can be applied to a wide range of emotions and behaviors.
